Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

BERGER RD., 9200 block, 8:23 p.m. Nov. 15. Two people demanded cash from someone at a carwash. When the victim refused, the assailants fled empty-handed.

CEDAR LANE AND HARPERS FARM ROAD, 12:54 a.m. Nov. 13. A group of people attacked someone who reportedly had refused to purchase narcotics from them. Several arrests were made.

HARPERS FARM RD., 5400 block, 12:42 p.m. Nov. 15. Two gunmen entered a residence, threatened occupants, and took cell phones, wallets and a laptop computer.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10000 block, 12:05 a.m. Nov. 12. Several youths robbed three juveniles of personal items as they were leaving a shopping mall. A parent of one of the victims reported the robbery the next day.

ROBERT OLIVER PL., 5800 block, Nov. 12. A group of people attacked a male and took cash from him.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BAREFOOT BOY, 6300 block, 4:45 p.m. Nov. 10. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a door open.

HIGH BEAM CT., 10600 block, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 15. Three puppies were stolen from a residence.

LYNX LANE, 5400 block, 4:40 p.m. Nov. 16. Cash was stolen from two businesses. Each was entered by smashing glass in a door.

WINDSOR CT., 6600 block, 2 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 13. Video game equipment and games were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

HELEN DORSEY WAY, 6000 block, 10:01 a.m. Nov. 10. A 1997 Chrysler van was stolen.

OAK BUSH TERR., 8400 block, 9 to 10 p.m. Nov. 11. A blue 1995 Dodge Neon was stolen.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 7:46 a.m. Nov. 9. A gray 2004 Kia Rio Cinco was stolen.

Elkridge Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DEERPATH RD., 6800 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 12 to 7 a.m. Nov. 14. Cash was stolen from a register at a deli.

MONTGOMERY RD., 6600 block, 12:30 to 5:45 a.m. Nov. 10. Cash, computer equipment and a flat-screen TV were stolen from a business.

Ellicott City Area

ROBBERIES

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 8400 block, 10:26 p.m. Nov. 9. A male armed with a handgun took cash from employees in a business after closing time. The assailant had hidden inside the business during the day.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BONNYBRIDGE PL., 3700 block, 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 14. Video game equipment and games, cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

DORSCH FARM RD., 11000 block, 8:52 a.m. Nov. 13. A 2005 Honda was stolen.

TOWN AND COUNTRY BLVD., 9000 block, 8:15 p.m. Nov. 10 to 10 a.m. Nov. 11. A silver 1996 Honda Civic was stolen. It was recovered by its owner on the same street.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

DORSEY RUN AND PATUXENT RANGE ROADS, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7 to 10 a.m. Nov. 8. A silver 2001 Mercury Sable was stolen.

PRESTON CT., 8200 block, 2:38 p.m. Nov. 10. A gold 1997 Mazda 626 was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8000 block, 8:49 a.m. Nov. 14. A 1998 Chevrolet pickup was stolen.

Laurel Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BARRELL HOUSE RD., 9600 block, 1:15 p.m. Nov. 12 to 11:15 p.m. Nov. 13. CDs, DVDs and jewelry were stolen from an apartment.

MONTPELIER RD., 7500 block, 3:45 a.m. Nov. 16. Cash was stolen from cash registers at two businesses, each entered by smashing glass in a front door.

ROUTE 216, 11200 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 11 to 8 a.m. Nov. 15. Cash and pharmaceuticals were stolen from an animal hospital.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

WHISKEY RUN, 9800 block, 3-7:30 a.m. Nov. 12. An attempt was made to steal a 2004 Dodge Intrepid.
