To Collect for Toys for Tots

Prince George's County Fire/Emergency Medical Services stations and worksites are collecting new, unwrapped toys for underprivileged children through Dec. 16 as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program. Toys that resemble weapons, including guns or knives, will not be accepted. Citizens can drop off toys in the designated collection boxes at area stations. Sonny Frazier Drive Seeks

Unwrapped Gifts for Kids

Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be made through Dec. 16 for Hyattsville's fourth annual Sonny Frazier Holiday Toy Drive. Toys can be dropped off at the following locations:

* Hyattsville Municipal Building, first floor lobby, 4310 Gallatin St.

* Hyattsville Elementary School, 5311 43rd Ave.

* Safeway Store, 3511 Hamilton St.

The toy drive held in honor of the late husband of Hyattsville Council member Ruth Ann Frazier, gives Christmas gifts to selected Hyattsville elementary and middle school students. Children selected for this year's toy drive will receive their gifts during a holiday party to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 17.
