Highlights: The Stingrays won their division in the recent Savage Boys & Girls Club soccer tournament. Amanda Endres (Stingrays) and Erica Lee (Black Stallions) scored in regulation, and the game remained tied through overtime. Ellie Budzinski kicked the winner in a shootout. Keyuana Griffin played in goal for the Stingrays during the shootout. The Stingrays finished the season at 7-0-1, outscoring opponents 22-3. Other team members are Gillian Beck, Laura D'Costa, Malia Ekstrom, Erin Lieb, Jackson Schrickel, Jill Ward Slovick and Samantha Vermillion. Coaches were Mike Budzinski and Mickey Lieb. Other members of the Stallions are Katie Cheuvront, Desiree Davis, Emma Hawks, Alison Piwowarski, Erica Sadler, Tailor Smith, Amanda Song, Winnie Tsao and Caroline Winand. Coaches were James Lee and Mark Piwowarski.

U-14 Boys

SAC United Premier won the U-14 Chesapeake Division of the Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament. Connor Cortes scored for SAC on an assist by Tony Riso in the first game, which SAC lost to MSC, 2-1. Trey Murduck and Cortes each had four saves in goal. SAC then defeated Albertson Academy SC91 NYE, 2-0. Devon Gluck and Brian Alvarez scored, and Cortes had two assists. Murduck had 10 saves in goal. In the semifinals, SAC defeated the Baltimore Bays on Jon Talbot's goal in overtime. Murduck had 15 saves. In the final, SAC tied Bethesda Ajax and was awarded the title by the tie breaker system using corner kicks (SAC had four, Bethesda three). Riso scored for SAC, and Murduck had 15 saves in goal.

Hghlights: Against the Chiefs, goalie Sam Rowan led the Huskies to their sixth victory of the season. Zachary Garvin and Leland Stockman each scored two goals, and Devan Oharo had an assist. Against the Bruins, Daniel Vogel (2), Stephanie Asher and Stockman scored, and Stockman (2), Garvin and Daniel Ingham had assists.

Peewee Blue

The Howard Huskies won the Silver Stick "A" Eastern Regional tournament, which the Howard Huskies Club hosted during Thanksgiving break.

The Huskies defeated the Tri City Eagles, 6-3, New York Cyclones, 6-1, and the Montgomery Blue Devils, 8-0, to advance to the finals against the New Jersey Bandits, beating them, 2-1.

Against the Eagles, Bobby Condrey (2), Alan Fisher (2), Russell LeClair and David Ruohoniemi scored. Condrey, Peter Favinger, Brett Gleiche (2), Russell LeClair, Conor Sheehan, Eliot Tarash and Niko Vonakis had assists. Zachery Lewis (15 shots, 1 GA) and Michael Peters (12 shots, 2 GA) shared goalkeeping duties.

Against the New York Cyclones, Bradley Benson (2), Condrey, Zachary Michels, Ruohoniemi and Tyler Shaw scored. Benson, Kevin Brinker, Condrey, Fisher, Ruohoniemi, Patrick Serio and Shaw had assists. Goalies Lewis (7 shots, 0 GA) and Peters (2 shots, 1 GA) shared the win.

Against the Blue Devils, Brinker, Condrey (2), Gleiche, Ruohoniemi, Serio, Shaw and Tarash scored. Condrey (2), Favinger, Fisher, Michael LeClair, Russell LeClair, Shaw (3), Sheehan and Vonakis had assists. Lewis (4 shots, 0 GA) and Peters (5 shots, 0 GA) handled netkeeping duties.

In the championship game, Michels and Ruohoniemi scored, and Shaw and Russell LeClair had assists. Lewis (12 shots, 1 GA) and Peters (8 shots, 0 GA) shared time in goal. The team now advances to the North American Silver Stick Finals in Port Huron, Mich., on Jan. 26-29.
