Just ahead of Hanukkah, this little ol' band from Louisa, Va., comes to Rust Library on Sunday, ready to chase away any winter blues and set the mood for the festival of lights. The Vulgar Bulgars are a four-piece klezmer group with clarinet, violin, bass and drums. With such titles such as "Born Under a Bad Chuppa," "Get Down, Rabbi!" and "Skyliner Khosid," it's not exactly traditional klezmer, but it's a good time nonetheless. 2 p.m., 380 Old Waterford Rd., Leesburg. Free. 703-777-0323.

The Sugar Plum Fairy (Caitlin Jordan) and her Cavalier (Frank Shumaker) dance in the Loudoun Ballet Company's "The Nutcracker."
