BENNING RD., 1500 block, 10:45 p.m. Nov. 19. A gunman and a male accomplice assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash. The pedestrian was shot, then fled into a residence.

BENNING RD., 1500 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 23. A male got out of a vehicle and attempted to rob a female driver of a purse, then fled empty-handed when she resisted and screamed.

CONSTITUTION AVE., 600 block, 11:54 a.m. Nov. 19. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of cash.

DIX ST., 5200 block, 8:50 to 9 a.m. Nov. 23. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male student of a coat.

E ST., 200 block, 9 to 9:06 p.m. Nov. 22. Two males assaulted and attempted to rob a male pedestrian, then fled when he shouted.

HAYES ST., 3800 block, 8:40 to 8:45 p.m. Nov. 21. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1 block, 9:05 to 9:06 p.m. Nov. 22. Two males assaulted and attempted to rob a male pedestrian, then fled empty-handed.

MEADE ST., 4800 block, 5:55 to 5:58 a.m. Nov. 21. A male assaulted a female pedestrian and robbed her of a briefcase containing keys and credit cards.

MONTELLO AVE., 1400 block, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 21. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male unloading his vehicle of a wallet containing credit cards.

MONTELLO AVE., 1500 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 21. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male at a residence.

NEW YORK AVE., 2200 block, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 23. A gunman entered a vehicle and ordered a male occupant to drive, then forced the driver to get out. The robber fled in the vehicle.

NEWTON ST., 1500 block, 10:02 p.m. Nov. 23. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a coat and a purse containing keys.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1800 block, 5:57 to 6:01 a.m. Nov. 20. A gunman and a male accomplice entered a restaurant and attempted to rob employees. The robbers fled without taking property.

T ST., 100 block, 9:30 a.m. Nov. 22. Two males assaulted a male in a parking area and robbed him of keys.

TAYLOR ST., 200 block, 3:45 a.m. Nov. 24. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male in a park area of keys and a wallet.

FIFTH ST., 1300 block, 8:16 to 8:25 p.m. Nov. 21. A male assaulted a male in a hotel and robbed him of cash.

SIXTH AND F STREETS, 1 a.m. Nov. 20. A gunman robbed two pedestrians of a wallet and a purse, then fled in a vehicle with a male accomplice.

EIGHTH AND K STREETS, 5:19 p.m. Nov. 18. A male and an accomplice robbed a female in a bus of a purse.

12TH ST., 3900 block, 10:32 to 10:33 p.m. Nov. 19. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male driver of a vehicle. An arrest was made.

14TH AND JACKSON STREETS, 2:10 a.m. Nov. 20. A gunman took a vehicle.

16TH ST., 100 block, 6:29 p.m. Nov. 19. A male with a knife entered a vehicle and robbed a male driver of property.

26TH ST., 3000 block, 1 to 1:02 a.m. Nov. 24. A gunman got out of a vehicle and ordered a male driver to get out of his vehicle. The driver complied, and the gunman forced a passenger to get out. The gunman then fled in the vehicle with a wallet. Two male accomplices followed in another vehicle.

BRYANT ST., 1300 block, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

BRYANT ST., 1800 block, 9:10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Nov. 23. Video games, shoes, clothes and a video game console were stolen from a residence.

CHILDRESS ST., 1300 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 22 to 2 a.m. Nov. 23. Tools and medical supplies were stolen from trailers at a construction site.

H ST., 900 block, 11:15 p.m. Nov. 18 to 12:45 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking through a roof.

MORSE ST., 300 block, 12:30 p.m. Nov. 20. A male entered a store by prying a rear gate, then fled when he saw someone observing him.

QUEEN ST., 1200 block, 2:48 p.m. Nov. 18. Two males entered an apartment through a rear door and attempted to take a TV, then fled empty-handed when confronted by a female resident.

BUCHANAN ST., 400 block, 10:45 p.m. Nov. 21. Three men came out of a house. One pointed a gun at a 35-year-old deliveryman in a vehicle while two others approached the car. The deliveryman pushed the gun away and drove away.

CHURCH ST., 1500 block, 4:15 a.m. Nov. 22. A man robbed a female pedestrian of credit cards.

COLUMBIA RD., 1100 block, 7:25 p.m. Nov. 20. Three people attacked a male pedestrian. A wallet and a phone were taken.

COLUMBIA RD., 1400 block, 8:43 p.m. Nov. 19. A male snatched a bag from a female at a home and fled through an alley.

COLUMBIA RD., 1500 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 22 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 23. A male robbed a female of a purse at knifepoint and pushed her against a door.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1200 block, 5:50 p.m. Nov. 23. A man tried on a pair of pants in a clothing store, then left without the pants. He returned a few minutes later and cut a security cable on a leather jacket with a knife, told a witness not to come near him and fled on a bicycle with the jacket.

FAIRMONT ST., 1400 block, 10:10 p.m. Nov. 24. While a male was putting his key into a laundry room door in a building, a male hit him on the head with a mop handle. The assailant and three other males then punched him and fled with a wallet and a key card.

GEORGIA AVE., 7600 block, 9:02 p.m. Nov. 23. Two males robbed and fought with a male before fleeing through an alley.

GERANIUM ST., 1500 block, 11:50 a.m. to 12:49 p.m. Nov. 19. A male passenger robbed a cabdriver at gunpoint.

GIRARD ST., 1400 block, 1:25 a.m. Nov. 22. A man pushed a female pedestrian to the ground and robbed her of a cell phone at knifepoint.

HAMILTON ST., 1-99 block, 12:20 to 12:35 a.m. Nov. 24. Three males wearing masks and implying they were armed with weapons got out of a car in an alley and took a jacket and keys from a pedestrian. The fled in the car.

K ST., 1500 block, 2 a.m. Nov. 20 to 9:05 p.m. Nov. 23. A female pedestrian became involved in an argument with three men and two women. One of the men held her while the women punched her. A witness called police, and the attackers fled in a car with a cell phone.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 600 block, 1 p.m. Nov. 17. A man snatched a wallet from a male pedestrian's hand.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1300 block, 8:11 p.m. Nov. 20. A man dragged a female pedestrian and robbed her of a purse.

MERIDIAN PL., 1400 block, 12:10 p.m. Nov. 24. A female pedestrian was robbed of groceries by a man with a steak knife.

MITCH SNYDER PL., 400 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 24. A man robbed a pedestrian of a wallet and fled in a vehicle.

MONTAGUE ST., 1400 block, 5:44 p.m. Nov. 18. A male hailed a cab in the 3600 block of 16th Street NW and robbed the driver of cash.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 3900 block, 8:50 to 8:53 p.m. Nov. 19. Five people beat a male pedestrian and fled with a lunch bag and a wallet.

QUINCY ST., 700 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 20. A male got off a bus and was robbed at knifepoint of a wallet and a work ID by a man accompanied by another male.

RANDOLPH ST., 1300 block, 7:45 p.m. Nov. 23. A man threatened a male pedestrian and took his wallet.

SHERIDAN ST., 1400 block, 5:05 to 5:08 p.m. Nov. 22. A man hailed a cab and asked to be taken to Silver Spring, then said he needed to pick up his girlfriend in the 1400 block of Sheridan Street. The man then robbed the 58-year-old driver.

SPRING PL., 1500 block, 6:15 p.m. Nov. 22. A man put an object to a female's neck as she was leaving her vehicle. He demanded money and told her not to move or he would shoot her daughter. He took property.

TAYLOR ST., 1300 block, 12:53 a.m. Nov. 22. A 60-year-old man met a younger man at the Chinatown Metro Station, where the younger man helped the older man make arrangements for a place to spend the night. They took a bus to a location on Taylor Street, where the younger man forced the older man into a parked car and took his wallet.

WISCONSIN AVE., 1200 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 20. A man snatched property from a male pedestrian and fled with another man.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4500 block, 3:30 p.m. Nov. 22. A male teenager took a cell phone and keys from a male pedestrian and punched him.

SIXTH AND O STREETS, 6:20 p.m. Nov. 18. Three males approached a male pedestrian. One took a wallet and punched the pedestrian in the mouth, causing injuries.

EIGHTH AND QUINCY STREETS, 8:17 p.m. Nov. 16. A male hit a pedestrian with an object and demanded her purse. The pedestrian screamed and ran across the street.

NINTH ST., 5900 block, 7:35 p.m. Nov. 18. Two people were injured during a robbery. Two males, one with a gun, demanded the keys to their car. Police did not say if anything was taken.

10TH AND U STREETS, 3:45 a.m. Nov. 23. A man attacked a male pedestrian and took his jacket.

11TH AND P STREETS, 4 p.m. Nov. 21. A male pushed a female pedestrian to the ground and took her purse.

11TH ST., 1100 block, 4:40 p.m. Nov. 18. A male snatched a wallet from a female pedestrian's purse.

14TH ST., 1700 block, 5:05 p.m. Nov. 24. Two men robbed a male of a cell phone as he was leaving a building.

14TH ST., 5900 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 21. A man who implied he had a weapon demanded cash from a 40-year-old man in a lobby. The victim ran and knocked on a resident's door, and the robber fled.

15TH AND CORCORAN STREETS, 9:54 p.m. Nov. 21. Two men surrounded a pedestrian and pushed him to the ground. One robbed him of cash at gunpoint.

16TH AND V STREETS, 2 a.m. Nov. 17 to 11:40 a.m. Nov. 23. Someone hit a pedestrian with a bat. The pedestrian lost consciousness. A wallet was taken. The victim was taken to a hospital.

17TH ST., 2500 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 23. A man hit a female pedestrian in the back and snatched her purse.

17TH ST., 2500 block, 11:25 p.m. Nov. 17. Two men pointed guns at a male in a home and robbed him of a wallet and a phone.

19TH ST., 1200 block, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 19. A man took a purse from a female sitting at a table in a restaurant. Two witnesses stopped the thief. A man, 41, was arrested, and the purse was recovered.

23RD AND P STREETS, 2 a.m. Nov. 19. A gunman accompanied by two males robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet.

CALVERT ST., 1900 block, 7:30 a.m. to 4:33 p.m. Nov. 21. A laptop computer and a DVD player were taken from an apartment entered by prying a door.

Q ST., 3000 block, 1:47 to 2 p.m. Nov. 18. Two men entered an apartment through an unlocked door. They fled without taking anything when a resident returned.

T ST., 600 block, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20 to 11 a.m. Nov. 21. Disc jockey equipment, oil paintings and boxes of alcoholic beverages were taken from a restaurant entered through an unlocked door.

U ST., 1400 block, 2:45 to 10:07 a.m. Nov. 18. Property was taken from a restaurant.

UPSHUR ST., 1800 block, 2:10 to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 23. An attempt was made to enter a home by damaging a door.

W ST., 1300 block, noon Nov. 21 to 8:45 p.m. Nov. 22. A woman, 27, reportedly took house keys from an acquaintance while spending the night at her house. When the resident returned home, property had been taken. She went to the 27-year-old's home, where she allegedly found the property.

WALLACH PL., 1300 block, 11:22 p.m. Nov. 18. A male entered a home and took a wallet. A resident saw him and told him to leave. The burglar fled.

WYOMING AVE., 1800 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22. A TV and a DVD player were taken from a home entered through a sunroom and left through a back garage.

SECOND ST., 5200 block, 2 p.m. Nov. 18 to 8:15 a.m. Nov. 21. A video-game system was taken from a classroom in a public housing project entered by forcing a rear window.

14TH ST., 700 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 23 to 6:35 a.m. Nov. 24. Property was taken from a store entered by prying a lock on a front door.

14TH ST., 2100 block, 6 to 9:10 p.m. Nov. 22. A computer was taken from a soup kitchen.

16TH ST., 1800 block, 8:15 p.m. Nov. 22 to 10 a.m. Nov. 23. A computer and a printer were taken from a church. An office door was forced, and glass was smashed.

20TH ST., 2300 block, 4:14 a.m. Nov. 21. A check and a car key were taken from a home entered by picking a rear door lock.

25TH ST., 1100 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 15 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 19. A home was entered through a front door. The interior was vandalized with spray-paint and soy sauce.

28TH PL., 6300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21. A laptop computer, an LCD TV and a satellite receiver were taken from a home entered through an unlocked door.

45TH ST., 4800 block, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 to 4:10 p.m. Nov. 16. Power tools were taken from a garage. A gate was forced.

HOMICIDES

HILLSIDE RD., 4600 block, 10:03 p.m. Nov. 27. An unidentified male, 34, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Prince George's Hospital and pronounced dead at 10:40 p.m.

KNOX PL., 2900 block, 3:59 a.m. Nov. 14. Anthony Lucas, 18, of the 2900 block of Knox Place SE, was found in an apartment hallway with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Prince George's Hospital Center and pronounced dead on Nov. 22.VALLEY AVE., 1200 block, 8:59 p.m. Nov. 24. Makia Mosby, 23, of the 1200 block of Valley Avenue SE, was found with a gunshot wound to the head after firefighters extinguished a fire at the location. She was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's office and pronounced dead.

23RD ST., 2200 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 22. Carlos Phillips, 26, of the 2200 block of Savannah Street SE, was found with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the D.C. Medical Examiner's office.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

CHAPLIN ST., 1:30 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 20. A male attempted to sexually assault a female in a residence.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4600 block, 11:20 a.m. Nov. 22. A male student sexually assaulted a female student at a school.

ALABAMA AVE., 2100 block, 3:47 p.m. Nov. 20. Several people assaulted a pedestrian and took jewelry and a coat.

ALABAMA AVE., 2800 block, 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. Nov. 22. Two gunmen entered a store through a rear door and robbed employees of a cell phone and a wallet.

ALABAMA AVE., 4100 block, 7 to 7:12 a.m. Nov. 20. A gunman and a male accomplice forced their way into a booth at a service station, forced employees to the floor and took cash.

C ST., 5000 block, 2 to 2:05 p.m. Nov. 19. Three males entered a residence and robbed a person of cash.

C ST., 5100 block, 5 to 5:35 p.m. Nov. 20. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a deliveryman of cash, food and a cell phone.

M ST., 100 block, 8:45 p.m. Nov. 19. Two males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash and a cell phone.

SOUTHERN AVE., 3300 block, 3:55 to 4 a.m. Nov. 23. Two gunmen robbed a male motorist of his vehicle.

SOUTHERN AVE., 4400 block, 7:20 to 7:21 a.m. Nov. 19. A gunman and two male accomplices robbed a male in a parking lot of his vehicle and keys.

SUITLAND TERR., 2100 block, 9:46 to 10:20 p.m. Nov. 22. A male assaulted a female motorist getting out of her vehicle and demanded property. The woman screamed, and the assailant fled without taking property.

V ST., 1600 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 20. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of a coat.

FOURTH ST., 3900 block, 7:25 a.m. Nov. 20. A man assaulted a pedestrian and took a purse. A man, 36, was arrested.

10TH AND D STREETS, 11:05 a.m. Nov. 21. A male got out of a vehicle and demand property from a female pedestrian. The pedestrian screamed, and the robber fled empty-handed.

12TH ST. AND ALABAMA AVE., 4:15 p.m. Nov. 23. Two males assaulted and robbed a tow-truck driver.

15TH ST., 400 block, 8:20 p.m. Nov. 20. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash and a cell phone.

ANACOSTIA RD., 300 block, 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 22. A check was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a rear basement window.

BOWEN RD., 4300 block, 2:50 to 3 a.m. Nov. 24. A male entered a residential building by breaking a window and attempted to take a vending machine.

BRANDYWINE ST., 700 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 19 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 21. Tools were stolen from a construction site entered by breaking a rear bedroom window.

C ST., 3300 block, 6 a.m. Nov. 24 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 25. A video game console was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a glass patio door.

DOUGLASS RD., 2600 block, noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 22. DVD players were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

G ST., 1200 block, noon to 12:20 p.m. Nov. 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking a front door.

HARTFORD ST., 2800 block, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17. A DVD player was stolen from a residence entered by prying a front door.

MELLON ST., 600 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. Nov. 22. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 300 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 17 to 9:40 a.m. Nov. 18. Property was stolen from a store entered by removing a front-door lock.

ROBINSON PL., 2800 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 17 to 8 a.m. Nov. 18. A key machine was stolen from a storage area at an apartment building entered by breaking a lock on a door.

VALLEY PL., 1300 block, 10 a.m. Nov. 19 to 2 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

XENIA ST., 100 block, 3:27 to 3:32 p.m. Nov. 22. Property was taken from an apartment by four gunmen who forced their way inside when a resident opened a door.

SEVENTH ST., 4200 block, 1 to 8 p.m. Nov. 23. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

EIGHTH ST., 1000 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 19 to 6:50 a.m. Nov. 21. Property was stolen from a restaurant entered through a roof.

11TH ST., 700 block, 12:40 p.m. Nov. 19. A man attempted to enter a storage business by forcing window security bars. A man, 53, was arrested.

37TH PL., 400 block, 6:05 to 6:15 p.m. Nov. 21. A DVD player-VCR unit was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a bedroom window.

Southwest

HOMICIDES

FIRST ST., 1300 block, 12:35 p.m. Nov. 28. Three males were wounded by gunfire from a passing car. Gregory Kirkland, 18, of the 1400 block of Third Street SW, was found with gunshot wounds in the arm and body. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center and pronounced dead. Two other males, ages 19 and 16, were taken to area hospitals. They reportedly had non-life threatening injuries.

ROBBERIES

M ST., 1-99 block, 6:02 p.m. Nov. 24. A male teenager pushed a female pedestrian to the ground, took property and fled with another male teenager.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HALF ST., 1300 block, 7:15 a.m. Nov. 21. A man broke through an attic ceiling of a home and fled out a rear door while U.S. marshals were attempting to execute an arrest warrant at the location.

I ST., 400 block, 4:25 p.m. Nov. 18 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 23. An attempt was made to enter a school by smashing a window.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 4600 block, 3 to 3:10 p.m. Nov. 24. A DVD burner was taken from a home entered without signs of force.

WATER ST., 900 block, 12:30 to 9 a.m. Nov. 23. A restaurant was entered and three cash registers were broken into. A hole was cut in an awning. Nothing was reported stolen.
