Vehicle and Computer Sale
The Montgomery County Students Automotive Trades and Information Technology Foundation, which provides education in the automotive, construction and information technology industries, will host a used car and used computer sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Gaithersburg High School.

Weast to Present Budget
Montgomery County School Superintendent Jerry D. Weast will present his recommended operating budget for fiscal 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Rockville High School. Foreign language interpretation services will be available in Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese. American Sign Language interpreters will be available as well. Web Site Now Multilingual
To meet the needs of an increasingly diverse population, the Montgomery County public school system has added five language options, other than English, to its Web site: Chinese, French, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Hopkins, Parkland Team Up
The Montgomery County public schools announced last week that the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has partnered with Parkland Magnet Middle School for Aerospace Technology in Rockville. The laboratory will offer guest speakers, science fair judging, tours of the laboratory and classroom mentoring to Parkland students. The school will distribute information about the laboratory to students through newsletters, announcements and board notices.
Concert to Aid Scholarships
Montgomery College will host a benefit concert featuring area Middle Eastern dancers at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The program, called "Yalla! A Celebration of Women's Dance," will benefit the Women's Studies Scholarship Fund, which aids Montgomery College students who have taken women's studies courses. Rockville campus, 51 Mannakee St. $14; $6 for students and seniors. 301-279-5355.
