Dance Group at GMU The Mark Morris Dance Group performs at 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday at George Mason University's Center for the Arts. Pre-performance discussions, free to ticketholders, are at 7:15 p.m. each evening on the hall's Grand Tier.

The program both nights includes "The Argument," to music by Schumann; "Sang-Froid," to Chopin; "Candleflowerdance," to Stravinsky; and "Grand Duo," to Lou Harrison.

Falls Church Arts ExhibitionFalls Church Arts opens its members exhibition and sale from 1 to 4 p.m. March 11 at the group's Park Avenue Gallery, at 111 Park Ave., continuing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays until March 31.

An opening reception is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. March 9 at Don Beyer Volvo, 1231 W. Broad St.

The show features about 100 works by more than 50 artists in media including oils, pastels, sculpture and photography.

Slatkin Directs at GMUGeorge Mason University's Symphony Orchestra performs under Leonard Slatkin, music director of the National Symphony Orchestra, at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mason's Center for the Arts Concert Hall on the Fairfax campus. The concert features Dvorak's "New World" symphony and Oppido's "Celebrations."
