Franconia DistrictROBBERIESMETROPOLITAN CENTER DR., 6700 block, 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11. Two men forced their way into a residence when a 24-year-old man answered the door. One intruder cut the occupant on the upper body with a small knife. The intruders robbed the occupant and a 20-year-old female relative of cash, then fled. The man reportedly refused medical treatment. THEFTS/BREAK-INSCALAMO ST., 7400 block. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

McLean DistrictROBBERIESLEE HWY., 7100 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 12. A man with a handgun demanded cash from two employees in a bakery. They gave him cash, and he put it in a bag and left. LEE HWY., 7100 block, 5:30 p.m. Feb. 15. A man wearing a black scarf around his face implied he had a weapon and ordered an employee in a dry cleaning business to open a cash register. The man then grabbed money from the register and fled.

CHAIN BRIDGE RD., 1900 block. Two pairs of sunglasses were stolen from a business.

Mount Vernon DistrictROBBERIESLARAMIE PL., 3800 block, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Four men approached a 58-year-old pizza deliveryman, who was then hit on the head. The robbers fled with a pizza bag. RICHMOND HWY., 6600 block, 9:15 a.m. Feb. 15. A man passed a note to a teller in a bank, demanding cash. The teller complied, and the man fled on foot.

VANDALISMDANIELS RUN CT., 3800 block, 12:16 a.m. Feb. 11. Eggs were thrown at a residence. RANDOLPH ST., 3600 block, 1 to 6:35 a.m. Feb. 11. A blue liquid was poured on a vehicle in front of a residence, and toilet paper was thrown on bushes and a tree in the front yard.

STOUGHTON RD., 9900 block, Feb. 10 to Feb. 11. A mailbox was knocked off a wooden post in front of a residence.

A man claiming to be a clothing importer met a person in a bank parking lot and sold the person items he claimed were designer clothing. The buyer realized later that the items were fake.

WILSON BLVD., 6700 block, 8 to 9 p.m. Feb. 10. A purse containing cash, a credit card and a passport was stolen from a business.
