Forum on Capital City PlanThe City of Annapolis and the Comprehensive Plan Citizen Advisory Committee are hosting a community forum between 5 and 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bates Middle School, 701 Chase St., Annapolis. Presentations will be made throughout the evening about the city's development plan for the next 10 to 20 years.
The comprehensive plan addresses growth, transportation, economic development, water resources, public facilities and parks and recreation.

Disposing of Yard WasteThe Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works offers residents with fallen tree limbs or brush two options for disposal. Residents can bundle the waste with twine or place it in a container marked with an "X." It should be placed curbside for pickup on yard-waste collection days.
Bundles and containers may not weigh more than 40 pounds, be longer than four feet or contain branches that exceed four inches in diameter. There is no limit on the amount of yard waste that can be put out for collection.
Residents also can visit waste management convenience centers at the following times and locations: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at 100 Dover Rd., Glen Burnie; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at 389 Burns Crossing Rd., Severn; or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays at 5400 Nutwell Sudley Rd., Deale. Centers are closed on holidays.
