SAT Prep CoursesMontgomery College is offering SAT prep courses for students preparing to take the standardized test in the spring or early summer.

Participants will learn test strategies and how to manage time, improve speed and reduce stress. They also will take, score and analyze past SATs.

Technology ProgramJohns Hopkins University's Montgomery County campus is offering a summer information technology program for high school students. Applications will be accepted through March 15. The program covers artificial intelligence, information security, data mining, knowledge management, social networking and bioinformatics. There also will be a trip to the Institute for Genomic Research in Rockville.

Jazz Swing NightJames Hubert Blake High School will host its sixth annual Jazz Swing Night from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow. The event will feature guest conductor Alan Baylock of the Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra and the U.S. Air Force Jazz Ensemble.
