Four men were injured early yesterday in a shooting incident outside a Suitland restaurant. All of the injured were reported in stable condition at local hospitals.

The shooting, apparently ignited by an argument over a game of pool, broke out in the parking lot of Poor Boy's restaurant, 3910 Silver Hill Rd., at 12:25 a.m.

According to a witness, one of three men who had been playing pool produced a pistol and began firing at 10 or 15 patrons. Witnesses said the shooting continued for two or three minutes and that 15 to 25 shots were fired. Prince George's County police said only one gun was fired.

Robert Allen Long, 23, of the 6300 block of Willow Way, Clinton, was shot in the back, according to police. Clarence Seymour, 30, of the 4700 block of Homer Avenue, Suitland, was shot once in the buttock, police said.

Craig Allen Horne, 17, of the 4200 block of Livingston Road, SE, was wounded in the leg by a stray bullet, according to police.

After the shooting ended, Michael Anthony Johnson, 19, 5905 Sachem Dr., Forest Heights, ran from the scene and, as he tried to cross Silver Hill Road several blocks away, he was struck by a passing car.

The unidentified gunman escaped.
