Nine people were arrested early yesterday morning and charged with selling drugs in Fairfax, Fairfax County police said.

The arrests concluded months of investigation by an undercover police officer, police said. The suspects allegedly were small volume drug dealers who made contact with the undercover officer at the Rose Hill Shopping Center in the Franconia area, police said.

Charged with distribution of PCP, a felony, were Anna Lee Etter, 23, of the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue in Fairfax; Russell R. Deavers, 26, of the 4900 block of Poplar Drive in Fairfax; John D. Sargent, 20, of the 6500 block of Riefton Court in Fairfax; Desiree M. Terry, 25, of the 100 block of S. Whiting Street in Alexandria; and Michael E. Wright, 24, of the 6500 block of Delia Drive in Fairfax, and a 15-year-old Fairfax girl. Charged with distribution of PCP and marijuana was Lee H. Warren III, 19, of the 6400 block of Beulah Street in Fairfax.

In addition, Gary L. White, 19, of the 4900 block of Shannon Hill Road in Fairfax, was charged with a felony count of distribution of marijuana and possession of marijuana. Scott Wright, 18, of the 6000 block of Kathmoor Drive in Farifax was charged with two misdemeanors, selling a controlled prescription with codeine and distributing counterfeit pills.
