Congress works all week to pass a budget reconciliation bill, facing a deadline of midnight Friday to avoid another shutdown of the government except for essential services. Committees that did not complete their sections of the budget bill will attempt to do so today. The House and Senate Budget committees then meet to patch the sections together into one bill to take to the floor.
