A Metro article yesterday incorrectly stated the amount of new money that Maryland Gov. Parris N. Glendening (D) proposes to spend next year at the University of Maryland at College Park. The correct amount, which Glendening plans to include in a supplemental budget proposal, is $9.1 million. In addition, the school is to receive $27 million in new money as part of a $102 million increase in higher education funding that Glendening proposed last month in his budget for the fiscal year beginning in July.
