Cpl. Benjamin D. Hoeffner, 21, of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; Army Reserve 324th Psychological Operations Company, based in Aurora, Colo. Died Oct. 25 in Ali Salem, Kuwait, of a noncombat-related cause.

Spec. Christopher T. Monroe, 19, of Kendallville, Ind.; Army Reserve 785th Military Police Battalion, based in Fraser, Mich. Died Oct. 25 in Basra in a noncombat vehicle accident.

Sgt. Michael T. Robertson, 28, of Houston; 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, based at Fort Benning, Ga. Died Oct. 25 at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, of injuries suffered Oct. 17 in Samarra.

Sgt. 1st Class Ramon A. Acevedoaponte, 51, of Watertown, N.Y.

Master Sgt. Thomas A. Wallsmith, 38, of Carthage, Mo.

The two soldiers were assigned to 3rd Forward Support Battalion, Division Support Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, based at Fort Stewart, Ga. They were killed Oct. 26 in Rustamiyah.

Staff Sgt. Lewis J. Gentry, 48, of Detroit; Army 94th Engineer Battalion, based in Vilseck, Germany. Died Oct. 26 in Mosul of a noncombat-related cause.

Sgt. Evan S. Parker, 25, of Arkansas City, Kan.; Army Reserve 1st Battalion, 487th Field Artillery Regiment, 20th Brigade Combat Team, based in Honolulu. Died Oct. 26 at Landstuhl Army Medical Center, Germany, of injuries suffered Oct. 23 in Balad.

Sgt. James Witkowski, 32, of Surprise, Ariz.; Army Reserve 729th Transportation Company, based in Fresno, Calif. Killed Oct. 26 near Ashraf.

Lance Cpl. Robert F. Eckfield Jr., 23, of Cleveland.

Lance Cpl. Jared J. Kremm, 24, of Hauppage, N.Y.

The two Marines were assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C. They were killed Oct. 27 in Saqlawiyah.

Staff Sgt. Daniel R. Lightner Jr., 28, of Hollidaysburg, Pa.; Army National Guard 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, based in Washington, Pa. Killed Oct. 27 in Ramadi.

Capt. Michael J. Mackinnon, 30, of Helena, Mont.; Army 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, based at Fort Stewart, Ga. Killed Oct. 27 in Baghdad.

1st Lt. Debra A. Banaszak, 35, of Bloomington, Ill.; Army National Guard 1035th Maintenance Company, based at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Died Oct. 28 of noncombat injuries.

Pfc. Dillon M. Jutras, 20, of Fairfax Station, Va.; Army 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based at Fort Benning, Ga. Killed Oct. 28 in Anbar province.

All troops were killed in action unless otherwise indicated.

Total fatalities include five civilian employees of the Defense Department.
