The sales and marketing council of the Northern Virginia Builders Association is planning an awards program to be held April 19 in the sales office of the Rotonda condominium as Tyreas Corner. In conjunction with New Homes Guide, the Northern Virginia marketing group will present "Mame" (Major Achievement in Marketing) awards to persons who will be recognized in 12 categories involving the selling of new homes and communities. Other awards will be made to persons who sold more than $1 million worth of new houses in 1976. Application forms for entrants may be obtained by dialing 652-3773.
Barbara Smith, who has been a sales person for Centex Homes for slightly more than two years in Northern Virginia, was recently honored by the firm for a volume of $15 million in sales. The firm also made other sales awards.
