Kenneth F. Gudorf has been elected vice president and treasurer of Gulf Oil Real Estate Development Co. and Gulf Reston, Inc. Gudorf held a financial and planning position for Gulf in this area since 1973.
Samuel R. Gillman, a veteran title insurance executive in this area, has resigned as president of Columbia Real Estate Title Insurance Co. His replacement is William Murdock, who was named executive vice president by American Title Insurance Co., Miami, with which Columbia has been affiliated since 1965. Murdock had been with ATIC in Miami.
Douglas R. Thrasher has been named assistant vice president of the Carey Winston Co., with the responsibility of originating residential loans in Northern Virginia out of the firm's branch at Tysons Corner.
Ronald Tull of Annandale was one of five auctioneers who recently participated in a study, requested by the Virginia legislature, about the feasibility of regulating auctioneers. A report will be submitted to the legislature concerning the advisability of establishing a commission to regulate auctioneers.
Pamela Mack, formerly assistant director of management service for the Mortgage Bankers Asso ciation of America, has joined the Urban Real Estate Finance Corp. as assistant vice president handling multi-family housing loan originations.
Frank H. Kelly, real estate specialist with the Department of Transportation, has been elected president of the National Association of Review Appraisers. He also is head of the Washington chapter of NARA.
Pierre Vining has been named manager of the Charles County office of Ballard and Kronk Real Estate, a realtor firm based in Clinton.
Morris Shroder a vice president of the National Housing Partnership, has been named chairman of a new urban housing revitalization division of the NHP. The division will work with city governments and community groups to generate increased housing developed and rehabilition in cities. NHP currently has several major housing projects under way in the inner city here.
Jerold H. Gilbert has been named vice president of Edward R. Carr & Associates, one of the major builders of housing in Northern Virginia. Gilbert, who will be in charge of marketing and sales for the Carr firm, formerly was with Lewis & Silverman, Long & Foster, the Artery Organization and Levitt and Sons.
