Herman F. Blake Jr., a Richmond builder and developer, has been installed as president of the Home Builders Association of Virginia. He succeeds Edward R. Carr of Northern Virginia. A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a degree in building construction, Blake comes from a family active in real estate and building. He earlier taught architectural drawing at Richmond Professional Institute.

Pat McLeish has been named general manager of new home sales in Virginia for Colquitt-Carruthers, Inc. She has specialized in the marketing of condominium dwellings. McLeish, her husband and their family reside on Lake Wyeth in Reston.

Albert C. Perry has been named head of commercial investment, land acquistion and sales with the John C. Walker Companies in Maryland.

Samuel R. Gillman is the recently elected president of the 87-year-old District-Realty Title Insurance Corp. For the previous nine years he was president of Columbia Real Estate Title Co. District-Realty Title has also named Vance N. Caskey senior vice president.

Real estate broker O. D. Field has been named to serve a three-year term on the housing panel of the Human Relations Commission of Montgomery County. Field currently heads the equal housing opportunity committee of the Montgomery County Board of Realtors.

Wayne W. Lancaster, vice president in charge of Virginia operations of Panorama Real Estate, has been given the 1977 Executives Club realtor leadership award. He was honored for his work in the area of grievances, ethics and real estate education with the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors.
