Nan Miller has joined Edw. R. Carr & Associates as director of the home building firm's design center in Annandale. The Carr firm also named Judith Dolson as head of a new relocation division that will seek to interest people moving into this area in Carr homes.

Lillian E. Bowen, who served as president of the area chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1977, recently accepted an award indicating the area group was the top chapter of IREM in the nation last year. Membership, education and community involvement activities were cited.
