Daniel E. Clarke, president of C.R. Graham Corp. in Silver Spring, has been elected president of the Maryland Association of Realtors, which has more than 18,000 members. Clarke is a past president of the Montgomery County Board of Realtors.

The Washington Board of Realtors has elected Raymond J. Howar, president. Other officers are Kenneth I. Luchs, James L. Eichberg and G.V. (Mike) Brenneman Jr.

Carroll R. Dove has become a partner of the architectural firm that now is known as Weihe, Black, Jeffries, Strassman and Dove. Also Marc Nathanson, L Perry Pitman and Zdenko Rakusan have been named associates of the firm, which was founded by senior partner Edwin Weihe before World War II.

Martha Schmidt has been promoted to manager of the Damascus office of Jack Foley Realty Inc. A real estate sales associate since 1959, Schmidt has been a Montgomery County real estate broker for nine years and has served since 1975 as a commissioner of the county's Commission on Landlord-Tenant Affairs.

Fred L. McKee, newly elected president of the Prince George's County Board of Realtors, has been selected as realtor of the year by the Maryland Association of Realtors. McKee, who heads a realty firm in Bowie, has been in real estate for 20 years.
