Land Development Associates Inc., a firm based in Laurel, plans to build a four-story office building at Rtes. 29 and 198 in Burtonsville this summer. The contemporary building is to be the cornerstone of a 25-acre office park.

Ivor B. Clark Inc., a Washington mortgage broker firm, has announced the placement of a $1.65 million industrial revenue bond through the-Fairfax County Economic Development Authority for construction of a new headquarters office building and manufacturing facility for Hunter Laboratory, maker of equipment for appearance measurement. Jansen Associates designed the two-story building, which will be built by Glen Construction.
Construction is under way on a new elementary school in the Burke Lake community in Fairfax County. Designed to be energy-conserving, the school is scheduled to be available for classes in September 1980.
