The Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage begins today in Annapolis and continues into May.

Landmarks in and near Annapolis will be on today's tour. The rehabilitated Federal Hill and Otterbein areas of Baltimore will be highlighted in a tour to be held Sunday.

The rural Middletown Valley of Frederick County will be a tour scene on Wednesday, May 2, and a walking tour of the Guilford area of Baltimore County will be offered on Thursday, May 3.

On Friday, May 4, My Lady's Manor in Baltimore County will welcome visitors. On Saturday, May 5, Somerset County, Md., will participate in the hosse and garden pilgrimage. On Sunday, May 6, the tour scene will be in Chestertown and Kent County.

St. Mary's County in southern Maryland will be the tour scene on Saturday, May 12.

All tour hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for a full tour, or $2 per house. Tickets may be purchased on the day of each tour at the first house to be visited. For any tour information, dial (301) 821-6933.

The Maryland round of tours will be concluded on Sunday, May 13, when a walking visit will be held in St. Michael's in Talbot County. Reservations for this tour include a Chesapeake Bay cruise. Reservations must be made in advance with the Pilgrimage office at 600 W. Chesapeake Ave., Townson, Md. 21204. The $20 ticket includes the boat trip, lunch and visits to homes in St. Michaels. Reservations are limited to 300 persons.
