Brian W. Ball has been chosen by Shannon & Luchs to head a new commercial leasing office at 8301 Greensboro Drive, Tysons Corner. A 1974 graduate of Brown University, Ball also was made a regional vice president of the firm he joined four years ago as a leasing agent. Foster Shannon, president of the 73-year-old realty firm, said that other commercial leasing branches will be set up later in the metropolitan area.

Thomas F. Jenkins, founder and owner of a Gallery of Homes franchise real estate office in Columbia, S.C., has been elected president of Gallery of Homes Inc., which has several affiliates in the Washington area.

Robert Coppedge is manager of the Potomac office of Panorama Real Estate Inc., which has doubled its space by moving into the new Semmes Office Building in Potomac Village. The area-wide firm's principal broker in Maryland and the District, Jean Backman, shares the Potomac office.

Joseph E. Robert Jr. announced that the J. Robert Co. Inc., which he heads, has sold out the 287-unit Greenhouse condominium apartment project built by Inland Steel in Couth Alexandria and the 255-unit Olympus condominium, also in South Alexandria.
