Michael J. Casey, who heads his own firm, has been named Realtor of the Year by the Prince George's County Board of Realtors. He was selected on the basis of his business accomplishments and civic activities.

Rufus S. Lusk III has joined Rufus S. Lusk & Son Inc., the Washington-based real estate publishing firm. It was founded in 1930 by Lusk's grandfather and is headed by his father.

Karen Cooper has been named an assistant vice president of Panorama Real Estate Inc. and will head the company's mortgage funding program.

Paul V. Baka has been elected secretary of the H.L. Rust Co., a mortgage banking and realty firm based in downtown Washington.

James D. Whitall has been named manager of the Airstop Division of Davenport Insulation Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Washington Gas Light Co.

Carole A. Glenn has been named Realtor of the Year by the Howard County Board of Realtors. She is an associate broker with AMF Real Estate Inc. in Highland.

Larry C. Wade has been named regional vice president of Colquitt-Carruthers Inc. He is responsible for the offices handling transactions in Wheaton, Silver Spring, Olney, Kensington and Rockville.

David S. Harper has been named director of education and training of Chas. H. Steffey Realtors, which has several offices in Maryland. Harper manages the firm's office in Columbia.

Lois M. Shanks and Bernard Dahlgren are the managers of the newly enlarged Warrenton office of Roy Wheeler Realty, a firm based in Charlottesville, Va.

Michael L. Hall has been named director of training of Oliver Garrison Real Estate Inc. in Hyattsville.

Owner-Sellers Service Inc., a Besthesda-based realty firm operating on a flat-fee basis, has opened a branch office in Kensington.
