Doug Bowers and Jim Mayfield of International tacked 59 to their opening round of 61 and won Bethesda Country Club's annual member-guest golf tournament with a 36-hole net 120 yesterday.

Jim Ellis and Tom Burton of Norbeck finished second, 61 60-121.

Paul Sebastian and Terry Lady of Washington won gross, 68 72-140. Jim Vito and Dave Tinkham of Congressional had 72 71-143.

PRINCE GEORGES-Medalists Gary Moore and Geoff Klasper defeated Mike McKenzie and Dee Sperau on the 19th hole, and Pat Bolger and Brooke Greer beat Robert T. Miller and Dutch Bowle, 4 and 3, in the semifinals of the club two-man scratch championship. Today's final starts at 9 a.m. Bolger and Greer have won three of the last four years.

WESTWOOD-Albert Garcia, Hank Cutler, Vince Salazar and Betty Magill won a best ball even at net 21 under par.

Kent Hunt, Bill Baxter, Ann Weinberg and Irv Brownstein won gross, 12 over.

CROFTON-Crofton defeated Indian Spring, 14 1/2-3 1/2 in a Suburban Maryland Golf Conference match.

MANOR-Sal DiMaio and Norman Manders of Congressional defeated Kay Kendall and Bobby Morris of Montgomery Village, 3 and 2, and Bud Halloran and Gene Battista of Congressional eliminated Mike McCullough and Tom Rand of Congressional, on the 19 hole in the semifinals of the annual member guest tournament .

The final is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. today.
