Joe Sadowsky won his second straight Bobby Bowers Memorial junior golf tournament yesterday, defeating Ken Stauffer, 1 up at Springfield.

It was a fine match in which the two 17-year-olds were never more than two holes apart. Sadowsky, who is from Hickory, N.C., was on down at the turn and was never in front until the 16th when Stauffer missed a two-foot putt. Stauffer had trouble all day with short putts. It was another two-footer he missed on the ninth that gave him a double bogey an denabled Sadowsky to cut the margin to one hole.

Keith Carpenter of Columbia Country Club defeated Carl Siegfried of Belle Haven, 5-4, to win the 14-13 class and Tom Riley of Belle Haven won the 13-and-under title by defeating Emelyn Aubrey of Reading, Pa., 6-5.

The title match between Sadowsky and Stauffer brought out some fine golf. Stauffer took the first advantage when he birdied the par-five second hole, getting on the green in two and two-putting. He went 2 up on the short fourth, which he won with a par. Stauffer stayed 2 up until the ninth when he missed a short putt.

Sadowsky evened it up on the 11th-when he had a par-three to his opponent's bogey. But Stauffer again took the advantage with a par three on the 13th. Sadowsky squared it on the 15th when he made a 10-foot birdie putt. He won the 16th with a par to go ahead in the match for the first time. The last two holes were halved. Sadowsky had a two-over-par 73 and Stauffer was three over.
