Beth Harrell set two league records to lead a group of eight double winners in the Northern Virginia Swim League all-star meet yesterday at the Wakefield Chapel pool in Annandale.

Harrell, swimming for Waynewood in the 15-18 age bracket, captured the 50-meter freestyle in 27.4 and the 100-meter individual medley in 1:12.71.

Stacy Gibbons, a 9-10 swimmer for Holmes Run, took the 25-meter freestyle in 31.6 and the 100 IM in 1:20.

Keenan Goldsby (9-10 Foxhunt) tied a league record in winning the 50-meter freestyle with 31.3 and placed first in the 100 IM with 1:23.06.

In the 8-and-under bracket, Joey Spagnolia of Dowden Terrace won the 25 free in 16.85 and the 25 breaststroke in 23.03. Lisa Farris of Lincolnia Park won the 25 free with 17.56 and the 25 butterfly with 19.59.

Tanya Humphreys (11-12, Hollin Hills) captured the 50 free (29.87), and the 50 backstroke (34.22); Hether Sell 13-14, Sleepy Hollow) took the 50 free 28.81) and the 100 IM (1:12.71); and Willie Gideonse (9-10, Camelot) won the 50 backstroke (38.56) and the 25 butterfly (16.83).
