The pairings and schedule for the first round of the National Basketball Association playoffs are complete.
In addition to the Bullet-76ers Eastern Conference miniseries (the winner to face Atlanta), Houston and San Antonio will begin their best-of-three series Wednesday night in Houston.
The Rockets gained the fourth seed and the home-court advantage with a 121-106 victory over Indiana yesterday. Both teams finished 41-41, but Houston won the regular-season series between the two, 4-2.
San Antonio will host the Rockets in the second game Friday with the third game if necessary in Houston Sunday. The winner of the Texas showdown will meet Boston in an Eastern Conference semifinal round.
In the Western Conference, Seattle will open a miniseries at home against Portland, while Pheonix has the home court advantage against Kansas City.
Seattle, which finished its season last night against Portland, will entertain the Trail Blazers Wednesday night. The series goes to Portland Friday with a third game if necessary, Sunday in Seattle.
Phoenix will play the Kings Wednesday and the two teams go to Kansas City Friday with a possible third game Sunday in Phoenix.
The winner of the Seattle series will meet Milwaukee in a semifinal series, while the Phoenix-Kansas City winner plays Los Angeles.
