Classic Go Go continued his march toward the Triple Crown races yesterday by coming from far back to score his seventh straight victory, winning the $75,000-added Bowie Stakes by five lengths over Honorable Man.

Longshot Boston Tea finished third, less than a length back.

Bill Room Blitz had a clear early lead. Classic Go Go was being allowed to lope under Tony Black after encountering traffic problems on the clubhouse turn.

With a quarter-mile to go, Classic Go Go was flying and blew past the pacesetter. He responded to steady urging to finish the 1 1/16 miles in 1:46 4/5 over a fast track. He paid $2.60 to win.

Classic Go Go had only fair success in his first four starts this fall, but in mid-December the son of Pago Pago won his first race, at the Meadowlands. His yearly earnings are now more than $169,000, highest of any 3-year-old in the country.

Meanwhile, Pass The Tab, an undefeated 3-year-old colt from the West Coast, worked between races, going six furlongs in 1:10 3/5 under Paul Nicolo. The gray son of Al Hattab covered the first quarter in :24, the half in :47 and the five-eighths in :58 4/5. He is expected to start next in the Swift Stakes at Aqueduct on March 7. Pass The Tab has won all seven of his starts, most of them by overwhelming margins.
