Fifteen players scored and Maryland fell one goal short of tying a school record with a 26-3 lacrosse victory over visiting William and Mary yesterday.

Jim Wilkerson had four goals and an assist for the Terrapins, who scored 17 straight goals, 11 in the second quarter. They outshot the Indians, 62-31, and dominated the faceoffs, winning 27 of 33. Maryland is 5-0 going into next Saturday's game against top-ranked North Carolina in Chapel Hill. William and Mary is 2-4.

Skidmore 9, Georgetown 8: John Harran had three goals and teammate Rolland Mackenzie had two goals and two assists for the New York school at Georgetown.

Navy 12, Maryland-Baltimore County 8: Senior midfielder Bill Anderson scored four of his five goals in the first half at Navy. The Midshipmen got the first three goals of the second half for a 10-2 advantage.

Virginia 19, N.C. State 11: Randy Natoli scored four goals and Matt Rainis and Scott Gerham each had three as the host Cavaliers built an 11-3 halftime lead and defeated the Wolfpack in an Atlantic Coast Conference game.

Bill Seery and Rick Giusto each scored twice for the Cavaliers (3-1, 2-1), who outshot State, 61-40. N.C. State is 2-3 and 0-2).

Washington & Lee 13, Towson State 12:John Sancilio's fourth goal, with 2:21 gone in sudden death overtime, allowed the ninth-ranked Generals to win at home.
