Sudi Miller and Mike Menec of Baltimore's Knights of Columbus Orchards and Craig Dies of the Rockville Municipal Swim Club won seven races among them in the 12th annual Potomac Valley Cherry Blossom swim meet at Bowie State College yesterday.

Miller, in the senior women's division, won the 110-yard butterfly (1:00.39), the 110-yard freestyle (54.47) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.17). Her 200 IM performance qualified her for the junior nationals to be held April 14-18 at the University of Alabama.

Dies led the 13-14 boys swimmers by taking the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.7) and the 100 butterfly (56.7). Dies was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:18.17).

Menec, who swam in the senior division, won the 200-yard individual medley in the national-consideration time of 1:59.80. He also took the 100-yard freestyle (47.25) and finished third in the 100-yard butterfly (54.20).

Solotar Swim Team's unofficial entry of John Fedak, Jon Ballard, Kent Demain and Craig Engel won the men's senior 200-yard freestyle relay in a Potomac record-setting and national-consideration time of 1:27.92.
