Maryland at Virginia

Details: Scott Stadium, 1:30

Radio: WMAL-630 and the Terrapin Radio Network; WEEL-1310

Records: Maryland 7-3, 4-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference; Virginia 2-7, 1-4

Key Injuries: Terrapin defensive tackle Gurnest Brown (sprained right ankle) is out. Cavalier cornerback William Frazier (calf injury) is out.

Game Analysis: The Terrapins, with a bid to the Aloha Bowl already secure, may have their minds on warm weather instead of the Cavaliers, an improving team. Virginia has two good rushers in Antonio Rice and Quentin Walker. But Clemson couldn't run against Maryland, North Carolina couldn't run against Maryland, and unless the Terrapin defense breaks down completely, Virginia won't be successful rushing either. The Cavaliers are fourth in the ACC in total offense; Maryland has the highest-scoring offense in the conference at 30.8 points per game. Maryland has beaten Virginia 10 straight times. Morgan State at Howard

Details: Howard Stadium, 1

TV-Radio: WHUR-FM-96.3

Records: Bears 4-6; Bison 5-5

Key Injuries: Neither team reports any new injuries

Game Analysis: These teams began playing what has become the longest football series between black schools in 1889. The game is the season finale for both teams. Howard had won four straight before playing one of its worst 30 minutes of football in losing to Western Illinois, 22-17, last week. Howard receiver Tracy Singleton needs 104 yards to reach the 1,000-yard mark in yards receiving for the third straight year. Others
