The Syracuse-Georgetown basketball game, postponed Saturday because of snow, has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. March 7 at Capital Centre. Maryland's new date at Duke is Feb. 21.

But Bowie Race Course lost another card yesterday, its third this year.

Catholic postponed its men's basketball game at Delaware Valley and its women's game at Frostburg State. Gallaudet's game against St. Mary's was postponed. Prince George's called off its men's and women's games with Dundalk. Howard's women were to play at Virginia Union but couldn't.

The Navy men's game with Brooklyn College will be made up at 4 p.m. March 2. Navy's women will play host to Shippensburg tonight at 7:30, American Saturday at 8 and Catholic Feb. 23 at 7:30.

In high school sports, both boys and girls games in the Gunston District were put over until Wednesday at the same times and sites. So were the Oakton-Lake Braddock boys and girls games. McLean's boys and girls will play Langley Thursday. Georgetown Prep will visit St. Albans Wednesday. The Mackin-De Matha game has not been rescheduled yet.

Interhigh boys, Anne Arundel County, St. Mary's County and private games snowed out over the weekend will be made up today if school is held. Interhigh girls will play Thursday. Prince George's County and Northern Virginia have rescheduled games for Wednesday at the original times and sites. Montgomery County has not yet rescheduled last Friday's games. Today's games will be played Wednesday at the original times and sites.

Virginia's AAA regional track meet will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday at George Mason if the university is closed; if it's open, the field events and trials will begin at 6 p.m.

Prince George's County's wrestling tournament will begin Wednesday.
