Hollis Stacy sank a 60-yard sand wedge shot for an 18th-hole eagle and Sandra Spuzich played the back nine in five under par en route to a 66 to tie M.J. Smith and Donna White for the lead at 136 after two rounds of the $250,000 Peter Jackson Classic at Montreal's Beaconsfield course.

Nancy Lopez complained of stomach pains on the 12th hole, withdrew and went to a hospital. Lopez, five months pregnant, was out in two hours . . .

Heavy rain washed out play in the PGA's Western Open at Butler National outside Chicago. The second round now is set for today; 36 holes Sunday.

About half the field was on the course when the storm hit. No one had played more than eight holes; all partial scores canceled. That left things as they were after Thursday's round, Tom Watson ahead at 67 . . .

In Sweden, at Stockholm's Sven Tumba course, Craig Stadler shot a no-bogey round of 69 and led by a stroke at five-under-par 139 halfway through the $132,000 Scandinavian Enterprise Open. Masters champ Seve Ballesteros rebounded from an opening 80 with a 67 and made the cut; two-time defending champion Bob Byman missed, at 80-78--158 . . .

On the PGA senior circuit, first-round leader Kel Nagle four-putted his final hole and tour money leader Miller Barber took a two-stroke second-round lead in the $150,000 Marlboro (Mass.) Classic. Barber followed up his opening 70 with 67, four under par for the 6,174-yard Marlboro Country Club course. Gay Brewer was second at 69--139; Nagle had 141.
