There were 17 winners of yesterday's five-of-six pool that made up one-fifth of the total pool.
Today's pool will start with a carryover of $112,469.60. The carryover is expected to be augmented by approximately $100,000 bet by today's players.

Yesterday's shutout of the favorites marked the fifth straight day that no one picked six of six. There were six live tickets going into the eighth and feature race, but when favored Double Stitched could not hold off Boil em Alive ridden by Phil Grove, the last hope for a $130,000 bonanza was gone. Boil em Alive paid $8.40 and topped a 7-6 exacta worth $17.40.
Yesterday's Pick Six pool of $163,363 generated a mutuel handle of $1,234,769 from a crowd of 7,004, bringing the average handle to $1,145,082, an increase of 17.8 percent for the meet over last year.
