Reggie Barringer and Brian Jones had three hits each as Prince William got a season-high 15 hits en route to an 11-5 victory over Peninsula last night in a Carolina League game before 713 at Prince William County Stadium in Woodbridge.
The Pirates scored six runs in the sixth inning to break a 5-5 tie. Bill Mortin (2-1) gave up all six runs on seven hits in one-third of an inning and took the loss.
