Ray Floyd shot a seven-under-par 64 on the Tournament Players Club of Connecticut course today to take a two-stroke lead after the first round of the $600,000 Canon-Sammy Davis Jr.-Greater Hartford Open.
Floyd, the leading money-winner in the field, had seven birdies and 11 pars in leading a group 46 players who broke par over the par-71, 6,800-yard golf course.

MONTREAL, July 25 -- Alice Miller, the 1985 LPGA leading money-winner, shot a four-under-par 68 today to tie with Chris Johnson, Laurie Rinker and Sally Little for the first-round lead of the $300,000 Du Maurier Classic.

NOORDWIJK, Holland, July 25 -- U.S. Masters champion Bernhard Langer shot a four-under-par 68 today to share the lead with Swede Mats Lanner and Australian Graham Marsh in the opening round of the $182,000 Dutch Open.
PGA money leader Curtis Strange, who missed last week's British Open, shot an opening-round 71.
