Running back Quentin Walker went around right end for 48 yards and a touchdown with 3:42 remaining last night in St. Louis to give the Cardinals a 10-3 National Football League preseason victory over the Chicago Bears.

Walker, from the University of Virginia, scored on the fourth play of a drive that started at the St. Louis 29. A 15-yard pass completion from Kyle Mackey to Curtland Thomas and Walker's seven-yard run off tackle preceded the touchdown.

Rookie Ricky Anderson kicked a 51-yard field goal for St. Louis and rookie Kevin Butler made a 21-yard field goal for Chicago.

Bills 10, Lions 10 (OT): In Pontiac, Mich., wide receiver Andre Reed scored on a 19-yard run late in the fourth quarter as Buffalo tied Detroit. Neither team was able to score in the 15-minute overtime period.

Reed took a reverse handoff from running back Jacque Robinson and ran untouched into the end zone with 2:29 left in the fourth quarter.

Detroit's Eddie Murray missed a 40-yard field goal attempt as time ran out in regulation, and Buffalo's Mike Johnston missed a 44-yard attempt with 7:03 left in overtime.

Bears: Chicago reached agreement on a three-year contract with offensive tackle Keith Van Horne. A team spokesman said Van Horne arrived Thursday night and met with General Manager Jerry Vainisi to sign a contract.

Cowboys: Coach Tom Landry plans to rotate three quarterbacks -- Danny White, Gary Hogeboom and Steve Pelluer -- in each of the Cowboys' first two exhibition games.

Landry said White and Hogeboom will play three quarters each and Pelluer will play two quarters in the two games.
