Danny Heep hit a three-run homer in the first inning,ookie Wilson homered and doubled twice and Howard Johnson hit a one-run home run, leading New York in Montreal.
Ron Darling (16-5) won his sixth straight decision. He allowed five hits in 7 1/3 innings. Jesse Orosco finished for his 16th save.
Montreal starter John Dopson (0-2) got only two outs in the first inning before being relieved. He gave up four runs on five hits.
Wilson led off with a double and Keith Hernandez walked. Wilson stole third and scored on Gary Carter's infield single. Heep then hit his seventh home run of the season.
The Expos scored in the second on two-out walks to Herm Winningham and Mike O'Berry and a pinch single by Razor Shines. Johnson hit his 10th homer in the third for a 5-1 lead.
Tim Wallach's 17th home run in the sixth pulled Montreal within 5-2. Wilson, who spent more than two months of the season on the disabled list with an injured right shoulder, hit his fifth homer in the ninth off Gary Lucas.
"Just playing is a pleasure," said Wilson, who was out from June 26 to Sept. 1. "Being able to contribute something is just icing on the cake."
