Montgomery Loses First

Len Maiocco passed for two touchdowns and kicked three conversions and a field goal to lead Westchester Community College to a 30-14 victory over Montgomery College yesterday in Westchester, N.Y. The winners are 8-1, the losers 5-1-2.

Until a 35-yard touchdown run by Westchester's Anthony Spencer late in the third quarter gave Westchester a 30-8 lead, Montgomery-Rockville had yielded minus 16 yards rushing. Johns Hopkins 27, Georgetown 7

Mark Campbell's four touchdown passes in Baltimore made Hopkins 4-2 and Georgetown 3-3.

The Hoyas took a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter on Peter Clays' one-yard run. With 24 seconds left in the quarter, Campbell tied it with a 10-yarder to Brendan Courtney. Lonnie Pulley rushed 105 yards and scored an 81-yard touchdown in the first quarter to help ruin Bowie's homecoming. Winston-Salem led after one period, 20-0. Bowie is 0-7 and Winston-Salem 6-1. Tennessee Wesleyan 31, Gallaudet 21

Buck Cheaves carried 26 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns, leading the school from Athens, Tenn., to victory at Gallaudet. Carl Painter ran for 56 yards and two touchdowns at UDC's homecoming. Hampton (7-1) took a 20-0 lead in the first quarter.

UDC (0-7) trailed, 34-0, then scored with 8:26 left on a 57-yard pass from Keith Young to Willie Goodwin.
