In Bloomington, Minn., Brian Bellows scored a fluke goal with 3:54 left in regulation as Minnesota rallied to tie Chicago.
Bellows took a shot from the blueline that goalie Murray Bannerman gloved. But as Bannerman put the puck into play, it hopped over his stick and Bellows, rushing up, knocked it off Chicago defenseman Keith Brown's shoulder for a goal. Jets 5, Nordiques 4

Defenseman Mike McEwen's second goal of the game at 14:21 of the third period lifted New York in Vancouver. McEwen scored his first goal of the season at 2:27 of the second period to give the Rangers a 1-1 tie. It was unassisted.
