East Carolina -- A university report alleged violations of NCAA rules during Ed Emory's tenure as head football coach; he was fired in 1984. The report said the violations included unauthorized financial assistance to student athletes, maintenance of unauthorized bank accounts, use of graduate assistance for offcampus recruiting and attempts to circumvent eligibility requirements.
