Clint Horsley and Kevin Napier pitched a seven-hitter at College Park that enabled Liberty to beat Maryland, 9-0. Jim Bevins had three hits and Pat Sipe and Sidney Davis each hit two-run homers for Liberty.

It was a close game until Liberty scored five runs in the ninth inning.

George Mason 10-12, Delaware State 8-1: Carlon Hart drove in six runs with two home runs that led the sweep.

In the first game, he broke open a 6-6 tie with a three-run home run in the sixth inning. In the second game, his three-run homer helped provide a 7-0 lead in the first inning.

Georgetown 8-7, Seton Hall 7-5: At Georgetown, Matt Lepnew's second homer of the game won the opener in the seventh inning and Joe Gervais's two-run triple was the big hit in a six-run second inning in the second game. Lepnew's 10 homers this season are a school record.

George Washington 15, Coppin State 1: Joe Ross went three for five with five RBI to lead GW's 20-hit offense. Three GW pitchers pitched a three-hitter and struck out 13.

American 8, William and Mary 4: Tony Pinto's two-run double ended a 3-3 tie in the fifth inning at AU.
