George Washington -- 2B Kevin Fitzgerald named to all-America baseball team. Navy -- OF Mike Schultz and P Drew Tanner were named to the first team all-Northeast regional baseball team. U.S. Boxing Association -- Back problems have forced postponement of Boone Pultz's scheduled June 12 defense of his cruiserweight championship against Carlos Hernandez.


U.S. Basketball League -- Former Boston Celtic Nate Archibald has been named head coach of the Jersey Jammers, replacing former New York Knick Cazzie Russell, who left the team after last season.
