The Washington Bullets will play at home Jan. 2 against the Atlanta Hawks. The game was listed as being in Atlanta in a schedule that appeared in Tuesday's editions.

The Washington Bullets will play their first home game of the National Basketball Association season on Tuesday, Nov. 4, when they face the New Jersey Nets at Capital Centre.

The season will start for the Bullets with back-to-back road games at Boston, Friday, Oct. 31, and at Cleveland, Saturday, Nov. 1.

The NBA champion Celtics visit Capital Centre, Friday, Nov. 7, Saturday, Dec. 13, and Thursday, March 26. Newly acquired center Moses Malone will face his former teammates, the Philadelphia 76ers, at Capital Centre on Saturday, Jan. 10, Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, April 19.
