HERSHEY, PA., JUNE 21 -- Ayako Okamoto of Japan shot a tournament record 8-under-par 64 today to win the LPGA's $300,000 Lady Keystone Open at the Hershey Country Club.

Okamoto, who started the day eight shots behind leader Ok-Hee Ku of South Korea, passed 20 players on her way to picking up the $42,500 first-place prize. Okamoto's record round gave her an 8-under 208 for 54 holes and made her the tour's newest millionaire.

Laurie Rinker, who shot 67, took second, one stroke behind Okamoto. Martha Nause (71) was third at 210. Ku (75) dropped into a tie for fourth with Cindy Hill and Cathy Gerring at 211.

Gary Player made a 30-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole to beat Bruce Crampton and win the $300,000 Northville Invitational in Jericho, N.Y.

Player, 51, began the final round with a three-stroke lead over Crampton, but a bogey-6 on the 17th hole gave him a 1-over 73. Crampton shot a 70 and they finished in a tie at 10-under 278.

Each shot par on the first extra hole. Crampton then missed a 15-foot birdie putt on the second one.

Ben Smith shot a 68 to finish third at 280.
