Junior Tautalatasi scored on a four-yard run 3:11 into overtime last night to give the visiting Philadelphia Eagles a 19-13 preseason victory over the New England Patriots.

Philadelphia's Paul McFadden had kicked a 22-yard field goal at the end of regulation to tie the score. The Eagles won the coin toss at the start of the extra quarter and elected to receive. Matt Cavanaugh marched the Eagles 79 yards in seven plays for the winning score, the drive including a 34-yard pass to Ron Johnson.

Tautalatasi, in his second-year from Washington State, cut through the right side for the touchdown that improved Philadelphia's preseason record to 1-1. The Patriots are 0-2.

Rams 23, Chargers 21: Mike Lansford kicked his third field goal, a 30-yarder, with four seconds remaining to lift Los Angeles (3-0) in San Diego.

Lansford's winning field goal came 2:43 after two San Diego rookies -- quarterback Mark Vlasic and wide receiver Jamie Holland -- connected on a 48-yard touchdown pass to give the Chargers (1-1) a 21-20 lead.

The key play leading to the deciding field goal came on a fourth-and-five situation when quarterback Hugh Millen hit rookie Loren Richey for a 21-yard gain, putting the Rams on the San Diego 19.

Three plays later, Lansford kicked the game-winner.
