So Cozy equaled Freestate Raceway's record for 2-year-old pacing fillies last night, winning the third division of the Lady Baltimore Stakes in 1:56 4/5.
Halcyon set the record in a division of last year's Lady Baltimore.
So Cozy was driven by John Campbell. Campbell also drove first division winner Huna Buna and second division winner Marcasite.
The first division was worth $123,750.
The second and third divisions each was valued at $125,000.
So Cozy paced on the outside for over a half-mile before Campbell was able get her to the rail. She went on to win by 1 1/4 lengths over Sweet Reflection.
The second divison had four leaders before 2-to-5 race favorite Marcasite regained the lead by the half-mile pole.Marcasite then pulled away from the field to win by 3 1/4 lengths in 1:57 4/5 over Lady Longlegs, driven by Ben Webster.
In the first division, Campbell took Huna Buna to an early lead and then held off a late challenge from long shot Haifa, driven by Gilles Gendron.
Moving to the top of the stretch, Huna Buna held a two-length advantage over Haifa when she suddenly took several bad steps and swung wide off the rail.
However, Campbell quickly regained control of Huna Buna and went on to win by a length in 1:58 2/5.
