Maryland:

Suitland Coach Jeryl Stewart turned in his resignation following a 34-0 loss to Oxon Hill. Suitland is 1-3. Parkdale scored its first touchdown of the season but still fell to 0-4, losing to Largo, 26-6. Fairmont Heights, averaging 26 points per game, was shut out by Laurel, 6-0, suffering its first loss of the year. Outrushed by more than 200 yards, Broadneck was handed its first loss of the year by Annapolis, 15-9.

District:

Despite 404 passing yards and four touchdown passes from Allan Johnson, Cardozo failed to convert any extra points and fell to O'Connell, 27-24. T. Roosevelt surrendered more than 400 yards and was blasted by DeMatha, 55-18, suffering its 12th loss in its last 13 games.

Virginia:

Annandale was burned for a 95-yard kickoff return and went on to lose to McNamara, 20-14, in a rare intersectional game between Northern Virginia and Metro Conference teams. Fauquier managed only one touchdown as if fell from the ranks of the unbeaten, losing to Woodbridge, 13-10. Playing without leading rusher and scorer Reggie Ware (suspended; late for a team meeting), West Potomac had no offense and was beaten, 34-0, by Robinson.
