John Duke kicked a 27-yard field goal and Seneca Valley's staunch defense stymied Churchill for a 3-0 victory. Georgetown Prep shook off a slow start and came from behind to beat Good Counsel, 30-7, for its 15th consecutive victory.

District:

Lorne Prince caught a three-yard touchdown pass in overtime to help Wilson turn back Poolesville, 22-14, in an intersectional game between Interhigh and Montgomery County schools. Carroll had no problem with McKinley, winning by 30-8. Larry Holmes rushed for 283 yards and touchdown runs of 85, 20 and 60 as St. Albans routed Jefferson, 35-0. H.D. Woodson cruised past Dunbar, 42-0. Gonzaga improved to 4-0 with a 12-8 triumph over Loyola of Baltimore.

Virginia:

Top-ranked T.C. Williams limited previously unbeaten Madison to 98 total yards and six first downs to win, 28-0, raising its record to 3-0. Joe Swarm rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown to lead Marshall past South Lakes, 25-7, in a Great Falls District game. Yorktown allowed only 122 yards and beat Herndon, 14-0, to improve to 4-0. Courtland raised its mark to 4-0 as it overwhelmed Stonewall Jackson, 49-0.
